Thoughts
Saturday May 2nd 2015
1. Shadows are dark, threating, and sometimes comforting. Regardless
you’re not alone.
2. Stretch your legs. Cover yourself in leaves.
3. A friendly stranger here is uncommon.
4. Spotted, a black three-legged poodle.
5. What’s love if you have to question it?
6. Tan dogs, green grass, and a concerned wrinkled widow.
7. Kiss your dad – he made you.
8. I can’t spell, today. I can’t read, ever.
9. A day of silence can let you hear a lot. Makes you see a
lot.
Take one “sense” away and suddenly you have a better sense
of everything, maybe even better than with them all.
10. Gum wrappers wink from the ground.
11. Don’t neglect your dog, don’t neglect your kid.
12. She was “accepted” in.
13. You don’t have to fall in love with the first person you
wake up to.
14. Wet spikes along the pavement.
15. Subways are where rows of people wear puffy jackets.
16. Bright day, stay in bed - therapy for your head.
17. Cover my sadness with kisses.
18. Eat food you can’t pronounce.
19. The man in his tie walks his cellphone on his dog.
20. Close your eyes or open your legs. Don’t do both.
21. Walk sideways and stand next to me.
22. Perhaps a piece or paper and a pen are more terrifying
than a gun.
One gunshot and you’re dead. But I could kill you over and
over and over with my pen.
23. Be tall, not too tall.
Be lean, but not too strong.
Be tan, but not too dark.
Have a pretty face, a pretty heart.
A nice ass, a nice rack.
And you’ll still get a cheating husband.
24. Follow instincts, follow signs.
25. Go to bed.
26. You were never true, you never could be.
27. Old women on sparkling scooters, scoot.
28. Wake up and love something. Anything, but make it love
and not hate.
29. Too tired of you, not tired enough to sleep.
30. I’m alone and you’re empty and occupied.
